Ever have trouble "moving on"?
(Preview)
We've only been full time for a little over 5 months now and the first 3 months we were moving around so rapidly due to work, art shows, domicile change, truck upgrade, etc. that we didn't always have time to appreciate our location as much as we would have liked. Before that we were part-timers and nev...

We have been looking at an RV Inspection course and the certification that the ones running it are trying to get set up. This may not be a popular post to some and I did think awhile before posting. We looked over the courses and material descriptions online and listened to part of an online seminar. M...

Dreamers - AZ in Nov 2013??
(

(Preview)
Sherry made a great suggestion that we see if we can get a few of us together this winter in AZ. Maybe even more than once, thought we'd start with trying to see if we could find a time in November that would work for everyone. Here are a few options: Saturday Nov 23 Friday Nov 29 (Thanksgiving weekend) Sat...

So we have another question. Next spring we hope to start building a house in the country, close to our children. Presently we have a 25' Airstream, but are hoping to purchase a 38' fifth wheel next year. Hubby will be acting as General contractor and is working with a builder on the plans. One quest...

First of all; let me say I'm thankful for opening my eyes every morning and being able to stand on my feet! For the RV Dreams Forum friends who listen to my health problems and what ever else. Grateful for the finances for food; shelter; rent; and utilities to heat my RV in this early cold weather. Did I m...

The Difficulty of Keeping Silent
(Preview)
Because we live in a VERY small town and need to keep our jobs intact until all of our ducks are in a row, Lee and I have told very few people about our plans. Our kids were told first, then our parents (that was interesting), and finally a very few close friends that we could trust to keep it to ourselves. ...

Ever Transforming Dream?
(Preview)
I'm wondering if others over the "dreaming", planning, waiting, found that the "dream" transformed, sort of like the kids transformer toys, turning it this way and that way until the pieces fell into place? Yesterday, I decided to just give up since trying to put the "d...

Let's help support RV-Dreams!
(Preview)
With the holiday shopping season upon us, I thought I would take a moment to do something that Howard and Linda (the force behind RV-Dreams) apparently won't - probably because they're too modest and unpretentious to do so. Namely, I want to encourage you to support RV-Dreams. Here's how. On the hom...

Okay I have started going through things at the house. Amazing what 23 years of marriage and 20 years in the same house can accumulate. My question is 'What do I do with all the SPECIAL stuff?' I mean I see no need to take wedding albums and heirlooms on the road with us, but I am not willing to give up the h...

I learned (unofficially, by snooping, but I will be informed formally in a few weeks) that my current full time job of 8 years is being cut back to part time. I will lose 50% of my hours and pay, and the boss will suggest I work from home instead of the office. Obstacle because whatever $$ I have saved up to f...
