I have been in touch with Howard regarding making changes to usernames, but it seems to be apparent that the moderators will not have the option of making username changes. That will have to wait until Howard and Linda return from vacation since it looks to be a function that requires administrator r...

I have drafted a couple of frequent contributors to the Forum to moderate posts while Linda & I are gone. They will have the ability to edit and delete posts that are spam or not in line with the overall good nature of this Forum. They will also have the ability to change usernames upon request. If m...

Is there a way that I can tell which posts that I have read already? I tend to jump around reading the ones that I have questions about first. Is there something that I am missing?

Not long ago I could add a hyperlink by using the handy little chain link icon in the editor and now it is grayed out and I have to use HTML. But if you try to edit anything with HTML in the visual editor you can easily lose the hyperlink. Am I the only one seeing this? This might have started when I let Windo...

I coulda sworn there was a link somewhere on the site that I could use to get to Amazon.com and you'd get something, but I can't find it. I need to buy a monitor calibration tool and they sell them but I want to link there from here. Wherezitat?

I'm probably just blind, but can't seem to find out where to add getting emailed when something happens in a thread or particular forum topic that you are subscribed to? I have checked the "email me" box for new post to a topic as well, and am subscribed to a topic, but haven't seen any emails a...

I noticed that I mistyped my forum name as laubental when I registered instead of laubenthal as it should be. Is this something that can be fixed or do I just need to re-register with the correct info? Thanks.

Nancy and Bill · Nancy and Bill

We are new to this forum and were wondering what the small price tag on the right hand side of the topic box means on our Introduction Post? Thanks, Nancy and Bill

Hi folks, just a question: what's the rule on the length/content of our signatures? I ask because I already have links to my RV blog and Etsy store but I'd also like to add my doll studio. But I don't want to spam y'all to death, lol!

ANyone else here using Linux and able to access the chat room? I am about at my wit's end trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong (likely) or parachat just doesn't support Linux? A few people have lost long posts while previewing or in the process of posting. I know how frustrating that can be, so I'll try to help here. First of all, I don't have a clue where those things go. If the post does not show up in the Forum under the topic you were in, they are just gone. I can'...

Hi folks. I have subscribed to one of my threads, but it is sending notices to my old e-mail address. I apparently never changed it here and now that I am trying, I am not finding where to do it. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe I am just not seeing it. Thanks, Jeff

I have noticed that to the right side of the "Box" that has the thread title in the forum there is a little tag. When I put the mouse cursor over that tag, a "pop-up" comes us saying, "Add/Remove Tags to This Thread". Looking back at other threads I have started, that...

OK, here's a stupid question. I've seen Howard mention a couple of times that there may be private messages, or a personal inbox, somewhere for forum members. For the life of me, I can't find it. Does anybody know where it is/how to get to it? Thanks, Tim & Robyn Fansler

I just want to say thanks and how much I like this forum. I'm in the beginning stages of researching RV living, and I have signed on to several different forums. RV-Dreams Community Forum is by far the best and easiest to use of them all, in my opinion, especially when it comes to responding to a post, as...

I have noticed some signatures on some of the posts that list the poster's RV, tow vehicle and other interesting stats. Are these manually typed into each post or is it a macro thing?

I am so glad that it has been confirmed "there is no such thing as a dumb question"

Some of you may have noticed the new Whiteboard feature in your Profile. I didn't know what it was or how to use it, so today I asked. The Whiteboard is another way for Forum members to communicate privately. Want to post a note for someone? Just find them on the User List, click on their name in a forum...

Howard: When I'm reading the forum, I would like to sort the posts from most recent to oldest, but the only way to do that seems to be the box at the bottom of the page. So on every topic, I have to scroll all the way down to change it. The purpose of sorting with most recent on top, is when you are already f...
