Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I am looking at putting these shocks on my 2002 Pace Arrow 37 ft Motorhome (F53 Chassis). I have read quite a bit about them and they are suppose to really improve, sway, drift, bumps and overall steering and chassis stability. I was going to go with a Stabilizer bar but was advised by two dealers that I should really consider these because of their experience in working with F 53 chassis. The other nice thing about these is that they are 40% less than a stabilizer bar and the installation cost.
Does anyone have first hand experience with these shocks? Or does anyone know an Rver that has had then installed on their RV?
Thanks

Have the Bilstein Shocks on my 2014 King Aire RV from the factory. Not the F53 chassis but the Spartan K3GT chassis. Rides beautifully esp off road which we do a lot of on the desert trails. My In-Laws purchased a 2016 Essex which also has the Bilstein Shocks from the factory on the Spartan K3 chassis. Only diff is mine are the 60mm tubes vs their 46mm but is noticeable on the desert rocky roads but not on a paved road. Think the chassis somewhat also contributes to the stability but the Bilstein are the best shocks I have ever ridden on in 46 yrs of RVing. Would recommend them to anyone.
