Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Has anybody found an alternative way to create blog posts offline, other than Livewriter?
I've been using Livewriter exclusively for several years, and I love it, but I just got a new laptop, and it is Windows 10, which does not appear to be supported by Livewriter. I tried downloading it, and it failed. I don't mind using Blogger directly (although it is not nearly as easy to use as Livewriter), but I feel like it eats up a ton of data while I am composing my posts.
If I could find a new way to create a post outside of Blogger, and then just cut & paste it in to publish, I think that would make it much easier for me.
Appreciate any advice from fellow bloggers!

We write ours in microsoft word first, edit a few times then copy and paste online to our blog provider. Once online, I just spend time uploading and putting pictures in. Allows me to blog at any point without having to be online. Seems to work just fine.
I have Windows 10 on my computer, and Livewriter works just fine. The program was already on my computer when I upgraded it to 10 though, so I can't add any information about installing it.

I'm horrible at blogging. Sadly, I've not posted in quite a while, but we did recently upgrade to Windows 10. After reading this, I went to Livewriter and clicked to get it started. I do have Livewriter 2011, and it did come right up. Now, I'll have to do a post or two to make sure everything works right for me. Like 2Riker2go, I already had Livewriter installed.
In the past, I've always preferred to compose first in Microsoft Word so that I could have all the editing tools of Word. (I need all the help I can get.) Wherever I intended to put an image or link, I'd notate at that spot in the text. Then, I would copy and paste the text to Livewriter and put in the images and links before posting to the blog host.

Thanks for all the responses! I was thinking that I would try Word, and then cutting and pasting, but I was hoping that I could put the pictures in, too, but based on Cori's response, it sounds like I'll have to add them in blogger. Unfortunately, one of my least favorite tasks in blogger! :)
The number of people who are successfully using Livewriter on Windows 10 gives me hope, though, and as soon as I've got some decent wifi (or if I have a couple gigs of data left over at the end of the month), I'll try downloading it again. Thanks for that link, Bill!
