Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have to submit a letter to the BLM for approval for our RV-Dreams get together so can I please have a show of hands. I am hoping everyone is okay with Thursday January 29th 1-5 pm at the La Posa South picnic shelter.
Cheers!
Steve

I think I might be able to drive down for the day. I would love to see everyone again. I would be driving just my car unless I take lessons in the RV before then. Is the shelter easy to find?
That would be great to see you again Loretta! Just a few miles south of Quartzsite on I-95 turn left at La Posa South BLM. The first road on your left after passing the gate house will lead you to the picnic shelter. See ya then!
So, how about either a happy hour or pizza night at Silly Al's next week for anyone who can make it before we depart due to cell/data limitations and Dale's upcoming dental work? Would love to see a few folks we might not otherwise be able to visit.
Loretta - we'll be back in Phoenix for most of Feb, we will definitely be in touch once we know our schedule.
Had a happy mini reunion with Steve & Dianne, Red & Pam and Gina tonight. Hopefully Dale will be on the mend soon, he got left at home due to being sick tonight, so hoping we can see a few of you after he's well again.

I got your invite on RVillage and would have loved to be there. But, we are in New Orleans visiting our son. Hopefully, we can get together in the future. All of you have a great time.
Loretta told us of your generous offer and we weren't surprised! You are true kind men and just want to say we're proud of and proud to know you. Love you guys!
Sherry and Jesse
PS, wish we were joining you all at the mini reunion! 😄

To those of you that responded that you can't make it...here's hoping that eventually all of our paths cross sometime in the future.
Safe travels!
Steve and Dianne,
Since we will be in the La Posa South LTVA after the Montana rally we should be able to make the Appy afternoon on the 29th.....count us in....

"CHARACTER is doing the right thing when no one is looking"
Thank you Steve and Dianne for organizing the get together today, we had a blast! It was great meeting everyone that attended and even though we had never met anyone before except for you we felt right at home and felt welcomed. We are so glad that we feel a part of the RV Dreams forum where we have met so many wonderful people who share similar interests.....it is a testament to what Howard and Linda started that keeps on building! Thanks again and we look forward to meeting many more Dreamers! Cheers, Les and Sue

It was very nice meeting you Les and Sue. It is so nice when you can put a face to a name. And a special thank you to Steve and Diane for hosting this little get together it was a lot of fun. I just wish I was able to spend more time there but I promise you I will learn how to drive the RV and next time I'll be there for a longer amount of time.
If anyone is going to be in the Phoenix area within the next month let me know and I'd be glad to meet up with you wherever you may be.
Same here Loretta....we know you will be driving your rig like a champ in no time.....you know Bill is watching over you and will guide you every step of the way!
Safe travels no matter where that may be!

Thanks everyone for your appy contributions...it was a success and our pleasure to host! Thankfully the weather held out before the rain. I think we all enjoyed reconnecting as well as meeting others from different rallies...
