Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Full Time Insurance

Awhile back someone posted a blog about an insurance Agency in S.D. We are getting ready to pull the trigger the end of November and would appreciate any info you can give.

Also look into Miller Insurance out of Oregon.  We've got full-timing insurance on our F450 and Mobile Suites and a separate policy on the F150 as well.  They were very good with working with us and got us insured with National Interstate.  We've even got full replacement insurance, but we didn't buy our coach used.

When we were checking prices, they were better for us in both Oklahoma and Colorado.

Marlene is the one that worked with us the most, and National Interstate does good things as well.  We've had to have two rock chips to our windshield on the F150 repaired and National Interstate paid for the repair with no deductible needed on our part.  I guess they figure that it is cheaper to fix the rock chip than replace the entire windshield.

National Interstate Insurance is one that offers full time insurance, including contents. We had Progressive before going full time but they did not want to do full time coverage at any kind of reasonable rate. Not sure why because they were one of the cheapest when we were just part time.
I would first work with an independent agent that can look at several options and not locked into just one company.

Ditto on Miller Insurance. I have Nat'l Interstate via Miller. Excellent!
