Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hot water spigot?

Just wondering if anyone has ever installed (or seen for that matter) a gadget that you put next to the kitchen sink that gives you immediate very hot water (so you don't have to boil it on the stove or in the microwave)?  I'm spoiled by my water cooler that has a cold and hot water spigot and wondering how I will heat the water for my tea in the RV.

home Depot or lowes....... also you will need a gfi installed under the sink....

A kuurig single or a black & decker single coffee unit will save you 200 bucks tho.....

Or a tea kettle on the stove and patience to wait the 3 minutes for the water to boil.

Yes with the change in lifestyle there is time to sharpen the axe, cut and split some wood, build a small fire, sit and watch some water boiling in an old beat up tin kettle.

That's why they make coffee makers with timers to start before you get out of bed.

Friends living in Taiwan have fallen in love with counter top water boilers, like this one - http://www.amazon.com/Zojirushi-CD-WBC30-Electric-3-Liter-Champagne/dp/B0011528S0/.  You need electricity to use it, of course.

I heat my tea water every morning using a tea kettle.
