Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I wonder if I had done it incorrectly or people just don't check their PMs?  Are we notified when someone sends us a PM?

The notification will appear under the section where it shows one's username and give one to "Log Out," and it will specify that one has received a private message and if there are multiple messages, the message will indicate how many messages.

If your concern is that I haven't replied to your private message to me, it is because I've not yet decided as to how to respond to the questions.

I have sent you a pm called "testing" so hopefully you will see what it looks like when one comes in.  Not everyone responds to pms and many people don't log in when they come to read and others don't have internet connections that often or are limited in how much they can use.

I have replied back to the message. Also, anyone that wants to get emails when they receive a private message needs to check that box in your profile, just in case someone didn't realize that.

 Thanks for your help and caring!  I got it all figured out now.  This forum layout is quite different from most of the others.

Click on your forum name at the top right (logged in as) then look for the "private messages" section at the bottom left on the new page that will open. click "messages". IF you haven't deleted any messages, you'll be able to find go through your PMs sent and received.
