Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Walter Cannon, the Executive Director of the Recreation Vehicle Safety & Education Foundation, (RVSEF) announced today the RV Lifestyle, Education & Safety Conference is now processing registrations for its classes at the May 2013 Conference to be held in Colorado Springs, CO. Walter states conference registrations are coming in and this year is off to a great start. This unique RV consumer educational opportunity provides RVers, and those interested in the RV lifestyle, access to the best educators in the RV industry.
The event features the largest group of RVIA award-winning RV experts, authors and educators, such as Gary Bunzer, the “RV Doctor,” Randy Biles, Gary Motley, Bruce Hopkins from RVIA, Howard and Linda Payne and Mac “The Fire Guy” McCoy, plus Cannon himself. The annual Conference will present seminars and classes addressing a multitude of RV-related lifestyle, technical and safety topics. The program also offers a comprehensive “Behind the Wheel” driving program.
Historically, according to Walter Cannon, about 40% of the attendees are non-owners and are seeking professional training before they make their RV purchase. Walter also states, “We have found that after consumers leave the conference they are ready to buy and feel they have the tools necessary to make a wise RV buying decision. Everyone departs, ready to apply the skills learned at the conference, and to enjoy the RV experience to its fullest.”
Information on classes, instructor bios and registration are available on the RVSEF website at: www.rvsafety.com or by calling RVSEF at 321-453-7673. Corporate sponsorships are also available. Enrollment is limited, so those considering attending should act soon. RVSEF is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization based in Merritt Island, Florida.
