Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

bleh What an advertising gig for the RV Industry. I sure wish I new how to get this in this thread. This was on one of this mornings newscasts. I seen it on the RVNET forum.

I just wonder how many families will think this is a grand idea. Sure hope they do the neccessary research rahther than listening to the media's propaganda and put a lot of families in jeoprady. Might work in the short-term!

That gives new meaning to the phrase "close knit family."  But you know, I think I envy them.  I certainly wish I could have provided the opportunity for my family to see the country as they are.

Could this be yet another large family in an RV?  I ran across this story on Yahoo! news about a family of 14 and the pictures appear to be different and there is a different website to their blog.

The Yahoo! news story:

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/family-rv-kellogg-show-life-road-151308846.html

In that story are some links to a blog, a Twitter account, Facebook page, and a YouTube site.  Here is their blog site:

Kellogg Show

I still need to do some looking to see if they are one and the same or two different families.

Very interesting.

Looks to me like 2 different families, in the one all the kids' names end with 'y', and the other they don't. Pretty impressive to do this with that many people in 1 RV!

You know, I am so near to getting myself in trouble here.  Especially with the ladies.  So, I'll pass on commenting on your comment and just say that it definitely looks like it is two different families.

It shows what extreme organization can get done. The most we ever saw was a couple with 5 children staying for a couple of months where we were. Of course, most people were horrified when the family arrived. The children were no problem at all. When they went to the pool, the whole family went. The children were very polite. At home where I grew up, one family lived in a house and had 17 children (1 set of twins) and I met someone that visited for dinner once and she said it was amazing that all the children had chores associated with the meal and they simply did them without direction. They were the most clean and polite kids at school. You either have manners and discipline or you don't and size of family or home really aren't the deciding factor. I surely understand wanting to just "drop out".
