Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Glad your maiden voyage is going well. We had one mishap yesterday. We have a Maytag resid. refer and the old standby tension rods are too short. Thank goodness the eggs were in a drawer! Those glass shelves are slippery and everything shifted so when hubby opened a door, lots fell out. A bottle of BBQ sauce hit the tile and went everywhere. Luckily 99% of it was on the tile and not the strip of carpet in front of the refer. What a mess to clean up. Glad I had stuffed some rags under the kitchen sink. Other than that, the coach worked great, drives like a dream and set up fast. We do need to re-arrange some stuff in the bays for the chassis rails are lower and when we pull out the slide out trays, stuff jams. As we use the rig, it will all come together. Slept well in the air bed.
Uck...yep, BBQ sauce is a mess to clean but at least that was all the happened!!!
My stuff seemed to stay pretty good in our rig when traveling, hardly moved about at all and we travelled on some dirt roads to get into the woods. I put that rubbermaid sticky shelf liner in almost all cupboards and stuff seems to stay put!
We have been moving and arrainging some stuff too. The funny part is that I can't remember where I put some stuff. The dh has been looking for his tackle box and I can't remember where I put it but know it will show up sooner or later! LOL
Well, you guys have fun!!!

"Can't remember where I put stuff"......ROFML How true! Bob and I ask "Where is such & such?" Our answer "Somewhere in the coach!" Between trying to remember where I put things and trying to organize the coach better I'll never remember where stuff is. Didn't get to the refer today, but will tomorrow.
Funny, I've been pondering what to do with my mother's paintings as well. I thought I'd keep a couple of them and display as you did. What did you do with the ones you didn't keep? Coincidentally, my mother loved hummingbirds also!
I agree, it's all about attitude. Home for me is a place to relax and unwind.

Lisa,
All the larger sized paintings were taken back to my older sister. When we were living in a stix and brix, we had as many as 65 of Mother's paintings. I'm looking forward to a trip back to my sisters to take pictures of a bunch more that she painted. At least I can have them on a computer. My blog has some entries throughout where I posted some of her paintings.
As for hummingbirds, did you ever have one perch on your finger to drink from a feeder? THAT is an awesome experience.
Terry
