Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Everybody make sure to do a complete safety check before heading out. This headline just reported in Colorado:
PARACHUTE - The Colorado State Patrol is looking into a fatal crash that involved an RV and a truck near Parachute Tuesday.
Troopers responded to a head-on crash on Highway 6 east of Parachute.
An RV, driven by James Vanacore, 68, of Florida, was traveling westbound in the right lane on Interstate 70. The RV blew a front tire, and Vanacore lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway through a deer fence and into the eastbound lane of Highway 6.
A white pickup, driven by Vance Flynn, 35, of Rifle, was traveling eastbound on Highway 6. The RV collided head-on with the pickup truck.
Click HERE to see the original report. Fortunately the folks in the RV only suffered minor injuries. The innocent driver of the pickup died at the hospital. Not something I'd like to have on MY conscience!
Definitely another reminder to keep tires properly inflated and to replace them when they get old. We just replaced our 7 year old tires even though there was lots of tread left on them. That little bit of weather cracking along the rim was enough to scare me!

Supposedly something like this from BlueOx helps in case of a front tire blowout. I've seen testimonials indicating how well these stabilizers work when a tire blows on a MH.
Here's an online vendor's webpage: http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com/Suspension/Blue-Ox-TruCenter-RV-Steering-Stabilizer
