Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have found my new favorite cooking pot.. I bought a Wolfgang Puck electric pressure cooker from HSN last month .. I am in love with it.. I have cooked some great meals in 30 minutes or less...This is going into the camper for sure. I made homemade chicken stock in 30 minutes.. I took part of that today and made a huge pot of Baked Potato Soup.. I plan to use the rest of the stock and cook up some Pa Dutch Chicken Pot Pie for dinner this week... Just thought I would pass this along to anyone looking for a quick cooking item for their camp site.... Happy Travels to All
I remember my mother cooking beans with one when I was a little kid. And, since I'm 65, that was a wee bit ago.
Those beans led to a new paint job in the kitchen.
I would say that this was supposed to be a caution about using a pressure cooker, but I still get tickled thinking about that "blow-up". What an explosion.
But, then. What do I know about cooking? I spoke once of not being able to fry water. A very kind forum member politely informed me that you don't "FRY" water, but you "BAKE" it.
Doesn't work for me. I just can't get it to brown on top.
