Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

E-Z load kitchen cabinets - any thoughts?

We're just getting started on looking for our FT trailer (5 year plan). The kitchen layouts are sometimes very challenging!  The high cabinets with all that room seem wonderful ... but I'm barely 5 foot!!!! I HATE having to get the step-stool all the time, then find somewhere I won't trip over it! (And I'm still in my house!!!!). My fiance found 'E-Z Load' cabinets on a site for Wildcat 34FLR. Does anyone have these??? They look too good to be true!!! They slide all the way down to the counter top ... load them up, and back up they go!!!!! Seems too good to be true!!!!!    Any thoughts???

We saw these at an RV show last winter. They come out with something new all the time. Really would be handy but have no clue about the workmanship.

I have a drop-down two-level spice rack I found at TJ Maxx which Dave installed in one of the overhead kitchen cabinets.  I love it!  The rest of the time I just hop up on the wee folding stepstool that we keep in the kitchen.  I do keep the frequently used items on the lower shelves.

Wow Gene, I looked at that Web site.  Boy would I love to have the slide-out shelves for one of my lower cabinets.

Knew there would be dead space in our limited kitchen cabinets but it was one of the compromises we chose to have this rig.  Love my counter space and windows!
