Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Unfortunately, Due To Lack Of Interest, The 2010 RV @ Sea Sailing Has Been Canceled!!

Back in March, we announced our association with RV At Sea,

a new cruise option that includes RV seminars during "days at sea".

Though the seminar speakers had already been selected and we are not doing any of the seminars, we decided to check it out.  After speaking with the cruise coordinator, we agreed to promote RV At Sea and became a "sponsor" AND we signed up to go.

When:  November 6 - 13, 2010

Where:  Miami, FL

What:  7-day Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the new Norwegian Epic

WE'RE BOOKED!!

It took a couple days to get a call back but we're booked on the cruise as of today.

We try to go every five years as an anniversary time away.  Our 40th anniversary was March 28, and this is the 4th cruise we've booked. 

We'll be parked at Wauchula, FL for six months, so we'll drive the car down and park in the parking lot. 

See you on the cruise!

Unfortunately, Due To Lack Of Interest, The 2010 RV @ Sea Sailing Has Been Canceled!!

We were notified yesterday (June 16) by the organizers of RV @ Sea that only six cabins had been booked and they are cancelling the event.

I know RV-Dreams followers had booked three or four of the cabins.  The booking agent is working on the cancellation with Norwegian Cruise Lines, and I have been told that credits for deposit amounts will appear automatically back into our accounts.

If you booked the cruise and made a deposit, let me know if you do not get your credit within the next couple of weeks.

For those that may still want to go on the cruise, contact the agent to see what your options might be.

That's too bad - it did sound like fun for those who could go, and another time, we definitely would have considered participating. Unfortunately, we had our fall vacation booked when the cruise date was announced. We're already planning our vacation times for 2011. :)

I'm so disappointed.  Guess we'll go to the Bahamas.   We were looking forward to another cruise.   Thanks for letting us know Howard.  We haven't heard from RV@Sea yet.
