Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Listed the house on July 2nd, after many, many showings, got a contract today, for a cash purchase at almost list price, closing set for August 15th ! They want in it before school starts.
Twelve more days and maybe, just maybe, we can go and get our new home on wheels !!!!
Fingers crossed
Ken

That's great news Ken! We'll keep our fingers, legs and toes crossed for you too! What part of the world are you located? It sounds like a seller's market where you are!
We have to sell our condo and have held off putting it on the market until the Fall when the snowbirds start coming back to Naples, FL
The news is not good when we listen to all the negative talk on the TV about the poor housing market and the sub-prime lending problems and now the stock market is in the midst of a big correction. Yours is the first positive news we've heard in some time.
We live in between Houston and Galveston Tx, small place called League City.
After 10 showings and not even one offer, I put up a $5k bonus to the selling agent and all heck broke loose, every agent in area was showing my house, took 4 days for a contract.

None of the poor housing market is making me feel good guys! Please do not talk negative. We have about one more month of work left on our fix up and then ours goes on the block. One thing good about our house is that it is paid for and all we have to come up with is the taxes once a year. I guess we'll just hold out for the turn-around if need be. We already full time in our 5ver so what the heck!
Inspection passed without a single item found wrong, except buyer wants termite treatment on back part of fence ($125.00) agreed, now moved closing for tommorro @ 4pm !!!!
Thats about as fast as one can get ,From look to close in only 7 days ???
Saturday, Cindy and I have appointment at the Newmar dealer to possibly close on our new 2008 Torrey Pine 37LSRE.

Congratulations Ken and Cindy, that's certainly wonderful. Hope everything continues to move smoothly for you as you make you transition to the "freedom" life of fulltime RVing. Speed and Froggi hang in there your time will come and before you know it you'll be bustling about making that transition as well. Patience is a hard thing but all in good time.
