Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Since we will be working on our property in S. TX next winter, we would like to find a "lot sitter" for our property at North Ranch Escapee Park next Fall & winter....... Its a nice lot with full hookups of course and backs up to the BLM property. Beautiful view of Vulture peak out the back window.....+ super neighbors!!
We are getting LOT's of inquirey's on out lot!!!!! Plus, this is the only place we have mentioned it. If those of you that have contacted us are interested, don't linger. When I put it on the Escapee Forum,,,,,,,,it will be gone fast. North Ranch is a popular winter spot. Our friends that have a lot setter have NO problem and get more requests than they can handle.. Get you name and deposit in..... Check the place out in our web shots photos. Mike

Hi Mike, just a dumb question from a newbie (who isn't on the road yet) who is trying to educate themselves. Wondering why there is a deposit if they are lot sitting for you? Could you explain so I will know next time I see something similar? Thanks!
Hi Donna, Be happy to explain. Lot sitters pay monthly fee to the lot owners. The lot owners, of course own the lot and have normal misc upkeep expences, maintance fee's, H/O dues, street and sewer charges, taxes, etc. A reimbursement might be a better word for it.....
Hope that explains it. If not just let me know....
Mike

I'm sorry I didn't clearify it in the beginning. We use the word so loosely around the Escapee RV parks. Like I tell my DW, its not what I say, its what I mean..... besides "RENT" sounds so COMMERCIAL...........Its usually not a perminant thing, just while we are off on another adventure for a while. We'll be back ! Regards Mike
