TVs
(Preview)
We have two TVs in our house; we are thinking about ordering 3 or even 4 in our Class A. Is that nuts? Do you use all 4 or do you wish you had not gotten one for the outside, one in the windshield, one by the refrigerator.. Any thoughts? Thanks Randy and Pam

Cost of fulltiming
(Preview)
How about finances? Can a couple with a paid for rig live fulltime on $2,150 mthly for sure income? Does this sound resonable or should I expect it to cost more? I do plan to have other forms of income as well...but, this would be the only for sure income to make a budget from.

Grocery budget
(Preview)
OK, here's a really dumb question... A lot of the RVer budgets I've seen have a grocery budget of around $400/month for two people. How the heck do you do it? Try as we might we don't seem to be able to keep it down that low. It seems to me that's one change we could start making right now before we ever hit the r...

Cutting back on Christmas giving
(Preview)
As the patriarch of my family I floated a trial balloon with several of my children to see what they thought of our cutting back on the amount of money we spend on each other for Christmas gifts. They all agreed that it was a good idea. Everyone is facing a certain amount of insecurity about the future and...

Surprises on how much it really costs?
(Preview)
For those of you on a budget, how long did it take you to adjust to living on less income? I assume it is going to cost more than we are planning for. We have seen a number of budgets and have come up with our own, yet it may cost more. What have you done to adjust and live on less? Thanks Randy and Pam www.warner...

When you travel as a fulltimer, do you spend a lot on "admissions" to various events, historic sites, etc.? I don't mean the usual toursit traps but those places of genuine interest?

Anyone use paytrust

I have yet to see paytrust mentioned around here or on any RV forum ( I am sure it must be mentioned on some form, so no need to search to prove me wrong). It is a service where you have your bills sent to their address and they scan and organize them for you. So when paying your bills you go to the paytrust sit...

Annual maintenance costs?
(Preview)
After reading a few blogs including RV dreams and reconsidering our own experience we are going to revise our annual maintenance budget. It seems that maintenance costs for the RV match or even exceed what the stick house maintenance costs. We have spent somewhere between $1200 and $1400 per year...
