Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Our deepest sympathy for your loss. I often feel like our pets remain with us always. Sounds a little nutty but often, my 2 current dogs will keep turning and looking behind us like something is there walking behind us when there isn't or at least nothing that I see and I can't help but wonder................. I think that the connection that love creates never ends. Again, our deepest sympathy.
I can tell from your blog, that she was a wonderful family member for you. Having nearly lost our own Josie in a recent savage dog attack I can attest that every time I look into those eyes I see her unconditional love and affection. I have a real heart felt sense for your loss.
Please accept our condolences. We just went through this, so we know how much you miss her. As was mentioned to us, this is the price we end up paying for all of the unconditional love that they bring to us.

Brian, when that happened to Josie, I looked over at Jenny and imagined what I would do if that happened to her. We would do anything we could to protect them, that's for sure.

My dogs will be disappointed to learn that there are trees in Heaven because they were thinking they would actually have a shot at catching a squirrel as it is supposed to be Heaven but then it wouldn't be that way for the squirrels if there were no trees.
On another forum I read where they were saying that when you get to the "gate", all the pets you ever had will be waiting there for you and they will make the decision whether or not you will pass through the "gate". I thought that seemed nice, well, for the good pet owners anyway. Only in Heaven would our dogs sit at a "gate" with our cat.
