Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We now have a signed contract in hand, step one done (agreed on price). Today the buyers had a home inspection
done. Not sure of the results yet. My daughter and her husband have some land with a water/sewage/electric they
said we could park the 5th wheel until I retire (end of the year). So many hurdles to get over selling a house. Here's
to keeping our fingers crossed.

Wow! Congratulations John! That is really fast! We are just a couple of steps behind you. We should have our house on the market in a couple of weeks, but we already have a lady coming to see it next week. She heard about it by word of mouth. Did you list your house with an agent or sell on your own. We are tempted to do it ourselves for a month or two. If no results, we'll go to an agent.
I should wait until the end of the year to retire to maximize my pension, but I might be tempted to leave before the end of the year! :)
Well 8 days ago the buyers FHA inspector/appraiser did his thing, well still waiting to hear back on their
findings. The house selling is so stressful. Hopefully buy the end of the month it's all over. An answer to
a earlier question we used a realtor. He just called to say he has not heard anything (no news is good news).
Wish us luck maybe I'll have more news with my next post.

Yes, John, definitely very stressful, especially being kept in limbo! As everyone keeps telling me, hang in there; it will all happen as and when it's supposed to.

Sorry to take so long to get back to the forum, but seams like everything is in fast motion. We closed
on the house (thank God). The week before that getting all the rest of your STUFF out of your house
I thought that would ever end. We are currently living in our 5th wheel on my daughter's property about
7 miles from our old house till I retire at the end of the year. Maybe now things will slow down and feel
more normal. Thanks for all the support through out this ordeal.

Congrats, John and Karla! As I mentioned earlier, we are right on your heels! We are suppose to close on our house a week from next Monday (21st). On the 13th, we are going to move into our 5er in the back yard. On the 16th, we will move to our nearby KOA campground and stay there a month.
So much to do in so little time! :)
