Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Two weeks left on Workamper job!

Has it been fun, Yes

has it been bad, Yes.

Will I workamp again, Yes.

I guess, as with most things in life, there have been some good and some bad Experiences.

I have met some really nice folks, and swapped stories and lies with them.

I got a chance to met some of the workampers from other nearby campgrounds and attractions, nice folks!

The things to do list here in the Black Hills is very large, I still have some more to see and do.

The weather, except for the hail storms has been very nice.

I guess, what I'm trying to say is I'm looking forward to leaving, but on the other had not so much!

Headed to Arkansas on the White River for a little relaxation and trout fishing.

Hope everyone has safe travels as the seasons start to change.

Jim

Glad you have had a good experience Jim, it was nice meeting you as well. We are also leaving in 2 weeks and the "dreaded hitch itch" has taken hold! LOL

It was good meeting all of you too!  We left SD on the 4th and made our way to northern CA where I am visiting family and then on the 30th we travel south and make our way to Benson AZ where we will start our winter 'job'.  We enjoyed our first one so much we decided to do it again.  As you all did, we met some wonderful people and saw some amazing sites.   Isn't it great when you can meet someone and finally put a face to a name and immediately feel like family?  Just like someone said yesterday in another post, we are all family and Howard and Linda are our parents.  After all, they are the ones responsible for all of us being in this wonderful lifestyle. I hope we all meet up again someday but in the meantime, stay well, drive safe but most of all have fun!

Safe travels, it was nice meeting all of you during our 2 week stay in SD.

Since we're not workcampers and we have been moving around every 5-21 days we never really suffer from "hitch itch". There are times I think I'd like to stay somewhere longer but I've also decided 2 weeks is a good length of time to stay anywhere. Any more time than than and Dale's pack rat & clutter tendencies have me going crazy.
