Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I may have missed it somewhere, but do you have an idea of the hours each day? We have family that live in Canon City, which is about 50 miles away from Colorado Springs. We could visit with them in the evening and do the conference during the day.
Also, do you happen to have an address for the Campus of New Life Center? When I googled it, it came up with a number of "New Life" places.

The schedule hasn't been completely set yet but this is what I expect.
Tuesday will be a registration, welcome, and overview day.
Wednesday - Friday, classes will begin at 8:00 a.m and end at 5:00 p.m.
Saturday will be a half day with classes starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 12:30 with a closing ceremony to follow.
In the past, there have been six classes running at the same time, but this year we have added an extra day and there will only be four classes running concurrently.
Evening programs may be added, but they wouldn't be part of the educational classes and they would, of course, be optional.
It's basically a five-day "RV College" with over 60 courses designed for wannabe RVers, new RVers, part-time RVers, and full-time RVers.
In addition to the technical courses, the RV purchasing courses, and the safety courses, Linda & I will be doing 8 - 10 lifestyle courses. Check out our recent post - 2013 RVSEF Conference - which provides a few more details.
2013 Lifestyle, Education, & Safety Conference
May 14 - 18, 2013
Campus of New Life Center
Colorado Springs, Colorado
$199/person
In addition to all the courses included in the conference registration fees, attendees may sign up for the RVSEF "Behind The Wheel" Driving Program. It includes three hours of classroom instruction along with behind-the-wheel driving and parking instruction. Those that complete the course will receive a certificate good for insurance discounts available through many RV insurance companies. Fee: $250 per person.
We will also be doing wheel-by-wheel RV weighing. Fee: $60 per RV.
Feel free to post questions here and we will answer them to the best of our ability.
Since I'm in Denver, I was hoping to get down to the Springs for some of this conference. Is there only 1 option for attendance, that is to pay the entire fee for the 5 days? I can't be there for 5 days so I was wondering if there are any "ala carte" options to just pay for specific classes?
Since I have nothing to do with the pricing or money collection, I can't answer that question. My hunch is there would be no ala carte options, but you never know unless you ask. Walter may be willing to do something on a case-by-case basis, but you would have to call him directly. RVSEF - 321-453-7673
So, Howard, after you wear yourself out talking we expect to see you for some R&R in Woodland Park. :)
