Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello. I'm not sure this is the best place to post this question, but here goes. My husband and I, along with our dog, hope to be arriving in the Houston, TX area late February/early March. We're currently in Costa Rica and own absolutely nothing in the U.S. at the present time. Since we have decided that we want to purchase a RV, but need time to shop for one, we're thinking of renting for a short time. Do any of you have personal experience with a RV rental company near Houston that you would recommend? I sent emails to a couple of places early last week, but haven't received any responses.
Or, if anyone knows of anyone who would be willing to rent their RV (stationary at a park) for a month or so, we would consider that as well.
Thanks much.

I drive by a rental place near Humble, TX every day called Sun Cruisin' RV. I have never done business with them so can not offer an opinion on them. They do have a website www.suncruisinrv.com. Phone # is 281 548 7878.

Ken and Cindy, thanks for the response. I hadn't checked the particular RV park you mentioned, but I've checked many between the areas of Houston and Livingston. Many places with park models won't rent to someone with pets. We have a dog, and I've found only a couple of places that have park models and allow pets. I'll check out the place you recommend.
