Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
My wife & I are preparing for the full-time lifestyle. We are researching all aspects to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible. We are looking at the various 5th wheel (our choice is an Elite Suites 38RESB3) & tow vehicles available and are making the mental preparations required to give up the sticks & bricks and head out into the great unknown.
Just went to take a look at the 5th wheel you're looking at. . . WOW! That's nice! It is hard to get your brain wrapped around letting go of all the things you have in your home (if that's what you're doing). We lost everything we had in a slow painful process when our business went under with this horrible recession. My husband absolutely loves living in our 5th wheel that we have right now (an older model 31') but I'm having a harder time as I'm the one trying to find a place for everything and this model doesn't have a lot of storage. You don't look like you'll have that problem though. I've talked to many full timers, and they all love it. Good luck to you!

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. If I remember correctly (always an "iffy" considering my age and memory), you have been participating at SOITC's (Suites Owners International Travel Club) website. You will find folks here that are just as friendly and knowledgeable as those on SOITC.
Here you will get the opportunity to learn a lot about every aspect of the RV life. As Mobile Suites owners, both RV Dreams and SOITC participants helped us in deciding what needed to be in our Suite.
Good luck with all the planning, and feel free to ask all the questions that you wish. We are all friendly and helpful.
Terry

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am looking forward to eventually being a very involved contributor to this forum. In the mean time I'll be spending the next few weeks reading as many of the prior threads to learn as much as I possibly can.
