Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Just wanted to say hi to everybody. I've been a fulltimer since the 16th of June. My home is a 33' MH. I work at a RV park as a groundskeeper for site and grocery $. I am enjoying the new life and am looking forward to all the friends I will make along the way and the roads I will travel down, or up as the case may be .
Hey Dan, a hearty HI back at ya! I Goggle Earth'd Charleston, OR and it looks to be mega-spectacular! Coos Bay area and right on the shore. Can you tell us more about the CG you are working at? It looks to be on Kingfisher Dr.? WOW! Eager to hear about the area as I am planning to visit the Pacific NW (specifically your area) in the coming year or so... Thanks and WELCOME!
Charleston in in a great area. We have a son in Portland, and go down the coast whenever we can. Maybe we'll get down your way one of these days.

Hi Dan, Welcome to the forum. We are also workampers in New Hampshire for another 2 1/2 weeks than off to Fl. for the winter. Good to have you on this forum, always good to have more input. Welcome again.
Hi Don, Welcome!! Glad you could join the group! We are located on the other side of the world from you, LOL in Georgia! One of our goals is to come your way in our travels. We have several members that workamp, maybe we should get a recommendation list going for each other so we will know great places to apply. This is a great group, you will enjoy being a part.
Hey Dan, welcome to the forum! I fell in love with OR when I traveled out that way in 2005 on my motorcycle. Beautiful state....I look forward to visiting again!
Hi Dan, Welcome to the friendliest forum around! We are currently in Lincoln City for the next few weeks, then heading south down the coast. We will look for you while in your area. Enjoy your new life!
Thank you to all the ladies and gentlemen who responded to my hello. This is a friendly group of people. To dreamjosie; When you stayed at Oceanside RV Park did you remember the guy who drove the golf cart around, the one who wore glasses? Well, that was me. I hope you enjoyed your stay here.
No, sorry to say I don't remember you. But that is not unusual. I don't usually remember the staff on golf carts unless I need something, or get in trouble (you know--breaking the rules :)
But we sure did enjoy our stay. We saw some nice sunsets from the beach and enjoyed a little fireworks as we were there over the 4th of July. Our little Boo Boo was such a star there, we had a hard time getting from our rig to the beach without being stopped by so many people who wanted to pet her.
Take care, and enjoy your stint there. Jo
