Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I've always been a backpacker, tentcamper and pop-up camper, however I am getting my first 5er, a weekender until I am ready to fulltime. My question is....where does one get sheets that fit a 4" shorter mattress? I toss and turn a bit and loose sheets will just not work for me. Thanks for your help.
I just buy regular sheets and don't notice any difference. We still have to stretch them to get them on the bed. You'd never know that the bed isn't a regular queen size.
I had this problem, and solved it by purchasing elastic straps that keep the fitted sheet snug on the mattress. I found at Wal-Mart, fabric stores sometimes have them as well or any bedding dept. store.

Does anyone have a problem keeping the flat sheet tucked in at the end of the bed? I'm talking about the top sheet - the one that covers - not the fitted sheet? I do and I am curious if others do as well. From the few comments above I have a feeling others do. Is this common for Motorhomes?

We have a big sheet of non-slip material between the platform and the mattress and that seems to do the trick. Newmar supplied it but I have seen something similar at Home Depot for to keep rugs from sliding on a wood floor.

We actually bought a set of regular Queen size sheets from JC Penney. They have the elastic all the way around the edges instead of just on the corners. Worked great for us.
