Hi,
We've been using one of the plastic accordian type sewer hose supports for about a year and it's now in 4 pieces and a pain to keep together properly. At the last campground we were in a neighbor saw me "assembling" it and suggested an inexpensive alternative.
I stopped a Lowes and bought a 10 foot section of plastic roof gutter for less than $6, cut it in 2 pieces with a sheet metal cutter. You can telescope the sections to the length you need and support the high end with a piece of the accordian support. The sewer hose fits in it perfectly.

For longer term stays I went to Home depot and picked up 4 inch Sewer pipe for septic systems and put my 3 inch hose inside of it. At around 5.50 a stick and under 3.00 for the angles looks very nice and keeps a good long shot angle for drainage. Also keeps the Flex hose out of the UV rays. At 5.50 a stick I can leave the pipe with the RV park for the next person, keeping the angles for my next longer term stop.

I was thinking of doing the 4"pipe thing before I read this thread, Now it will happen this weekend. My run right now is about 17 feet and the sheer weight and surge of the stuff causes my hose to knock the plastic support over and I be durn tired of standing it all back up again for each tank dump to allow for a better drain angle ( I don't like to leave the Grey valve open).
