I used some Awesome Orange cleaner (from the dollar store, NOT the full strength version) to remove some black streaks that I always get from the drip rail on the top front side where the F/G cap meets the sides. Sprayed the cleaner on, let it sit for a few minutes and then washed it off, it cleaned the black streaks off just fine.
The next day as I went to park my MH back in the storage lot, I did my usual walk around and I noticed the caulking at the area where I used the Awesome Orange cleaner was hanging off!
No big deal to reseal the caulking, but be aware this cleaner can cause caulk failure. I religiously inspect my caulking and seams, and was surprised to find this.
On the other hand, this might be a good product to use when you're trying to clean off old caulk. As always, don't use it full strength around paint or decals.
Best Regards!

WOW! Paul, glad you posted this info. I just bought a bottle of it a couple of weeks ago after hearing all the hype about how great it is. Sounds like a little caution is in order. Thanks for the heads up.

My husband and I ALWAYS use Simply Green to clean our rig's roof. We dilute it some....and in other places we don't. Depends on the degree of dirt we have to get off. We have NEVER had any problems using this wonderful cleaner. When we are all done, we use Gel Gloss wash and wax from Camping World to get the rig all shiny and clean.
Just wanted to add our two cents worth....

303 Products have several different cleaners for fabrics and fiberglass that should also do well. I started using them when I discovered how good their tire and fiber glass product is. We like Simple Green also.
