Leaving early tuesday morn to fly to Marina Del Rey to spend the holidays with my daughter.
Of course as I watch the weather for Monday night/Tuesday morning it might be a bit iffy. will get there sooner or later and enjoy. I'm sure she has everything planned for a busy enjoyable couple of weeks.
Hope all of you are going to have as happy holiday season as I'm sure we will.
God bless all

We will be spending New Year's eve with out children in Murfreesboro, TN. Heading south for a warmer climate after that - either Gulf Shores, AL or Bushnell, FL. Isn't this fulltime life wonderful, don't have to decide until you hook up. Wherever you spend New Year's eve, be safe and happy trails in 2007.

On the 20th we move to Diane's sister's driveway in southern California where we have 30AMP electric, access to water, and a grey water dump. We will be there through New Years and so will Diane's parents, who are also full-timers. Knowing this family we will probably celebrate New Year's Eve on Eastern Time, so it will be at 9PM local time.

Afterward a Safari rally at the end of January, then a run west for the winter, spring and summer.

Hello Dick,
Which RV Park will you be staying at in Borrego Springs, the one with the 9 hole golf course or the one next to the State Park? Why did you choose that one? Have you stayed there before?
We stayed at the RV Park closest to the State park last March and plan on trying the park with the golf course if we make it back down this spring. We don’t play golf so that isn’t a big draw for us.

We leave for Rockport, TX from Livingston either this Thurs or Friday. We want to go on Thurs but we don't pull in the rain unless we have to and we don't so it depends on the weather. We will be in Rockport until end of March and then we are still unsure if we are going back East or if we are going to stay out this way.

Looks like we are going to be staying home. We had several different plans, 1st we were going to New Orleans, then to Bay St. Lewis in Mississippi. But the stick house is begging to have us pay attention to it for a change, so we decided to stay home and give the house and yard a little attention. It has been in the mid to upper 70's here for a couple of weeks, I hope it doesn't remember that it is winter and drop to the 30's! that would be a bummer.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! We are in San Dimas California right now, at the East Shore RV Park. It's near I-10, just north of Pamona. This Thursday we move to the Newport Dunes RV Resort at Newport Beach to celebrate New Year's with the Good Sam Club. We'll be doing the Rose Parade doo-dah! My sister & bro-in-law are on the way from Colorado to join us for that. We will see The Glory of Christmas at the Crystal Cathedral and do a tour of the floats before the parade.
We got out of town (Colorado Springs) before the blizzard hit and have had lovely weather the whole time.
We'll head to Apache Junction, AZ to spend January, then back to Colorado to get the house ready to sell in the spring. Yeah! Full-time next year.

Merry Christmas and a properous New Year to everyone!! We are in Mission, Texas enjoying the music in the area along with the festivities in the RV park. We plan the 6 months in an RV park and 6 months in Ohio visiting with family and friends. We do our stopping along the way in state parks and some private parks. Love the Natchez Trace from Nashville, Tenn. to Baton Rouge the most. That is one relaxing drive. The Marlequite Beach, North Padre Island is a great stop to relax and recoup. This is our 4th year of full-timing and find it a great way to travel.
I personally enjoy reading all the posting in this forum and thought I would just drop one in this time.
Be safe on the roads and well in your health in the upcoming year.

We're in the same place as Christmas...Golden Village Palms in Hemet, CA. Nice days, cold nights, lots of sun, good sunsets. Hemet/ Temecula has all the shopping we need plus closeness to family. The park has lots of empty space so far. We're wondering if the gas price is keeping the snowbirds away.
Wishing you all a very happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year

We are currently in Borrego Springs, Calif. The park is about 1/2 full but they tell me it is full from the first of January until the middle of March. I like it the way it currently is because it's quiter and it's easy to get a tee time whenever we feel the urge to golf.

We've been moving so regularly that we didn't know where we'd end up till we landed in Tucson on Tuesday and decided to stay through New Years.
Even though it's raining today, it was nice to have mid 70's sunny weather the last 2 days and we enjoyed our first time in a pool in a few months.
Is this a great life, or what?? I'm only sorry that we didn't think of it 10 years ago.
