Well, "someday" arrived, and we close on the sale of our home in two weeks (to our son and his wife). Garage sales are done, donations made to family/friends/shelters, and what I "just can't part with" is in climate control storage, along with our seasonal clothing/coats/family pictures. I definitely won't miss the sticks and bricks "scene" for quite some time, if ever!
My husband is a project mgr/inspector and is away from home for weeks at a time, so we are looking forward to time together, after 34yrs of "visiting" each other, and our "home" will be wherever WE are! Staying in hotels and eating out for months on end is NOT fun, and I am so happy that at the end of a very long day, my husband will now come home to HIS recliner, in HIS home, and can really relax for a change!
We've been RVers for years, but full-timing is a new experience for us, and we hope to enjoy it enough to make it our choice at retirement. Thanks, Howard, for taking time to answer all our questions, and for inspiring us to take the plunge! Thanks, everyone, for the helpful hints!

Sherrill, welcome to the board and the wonderful life of Fulltiming! Funny because an awful lot of people can not imagine how we can live in a 'trailer'. We would be lost without our RV. We love living in it and everything is right where we need it or left it. For us it makes it easier to find stuff compared to living in a big house.
