Can anyone offer a good run down on which of the two campground discount programs has worked best for you? Would you resubscribe?
Best Regards!

Paul,
We used Passport several years ago, but didn't re-up. No particular reason, but we weren't full timing then. We now use Enjoy America. It is almost the same thing and available through RPI. We find it worthwhile. For example we stayed 2 days at Beaudry's in Tucson at 21.50. That is better than 1/2 price.
In a campfire discussion last evening, it was decided that it is pretty difficult, with rising costs, to NOT have some sort of camp ground membership.

Hi Paul, I think Campers choice is kind of new but we have had Passport America for about 4 years and have saved WAY more than we paid for it. It is an excellent package if you are fulltiming or traveling during the week. Few campgrounds will let you use it on the weekends. We have Passport America, Good Sams, KOA and Escapees and the PA is by far the best.

My view is if you are going to have anything, have Passport America. It takes about 3 to 5 nights to pay for the membership. We have been using is with success for four years.

We like Passport America. We have had it almost since we went on the road in February. It paid for itself very quickly. We have stayed in some very nice campgrounds that we might have otherwise overlooked and saved money besides. Campers Choice looks like a copy cat program and has many of the same campgrounds. Don't see the need to belong to both.

We've used Passport America since we started fulltiming in August 2004. We were in the west last year so didn't use it a lot but right now we're at Oak Forest RV Park in Austin, TX and their regular rate is $40/night. We're paying $20/night and it's a beautiful park. So since we paid $39.95 for PA, we've made up the yearly fee in 2 nights. I expect we'll use it more this year being in the eastern part of the country.
You see Passport America and Good Sam most often at parks.
