This is a question for you do it yourself types. What tools do you carry to perform minor maintenence issues that come up? Weight being an issue I would think there must be a list of Basic tools to get things done without taking my whole toolbox. Thanks to all who post. I seem to have put this in wrong catagory, have no idea how to change.

You can get pretty basic when it comes to tools.
A couple of screw drivers (flat and phillips) a small hammer an ajustable wrench a couple of common box/open wrenches Maybe a caulking gun
You really don't need much and if you have room you can always get more.

I don't have a list to carry, but I sure know I have a lot of things I've never used. I'm trying to look at things that I can remove from my collection. One thing I have thought about is that RVER'S are some of the friendliest and helpful people around. I know many of them would be more than happy to lend a tool to someone in need and some people with plenty of storage capacity have just about everything you can imagine with them. Maybe we should all hang out a sign by our rigs saying "'If you need help or need to borrow anything, please ask. You will make my day". I know thats the way I feel. Matter of fact, I think I just gave myself an idea to get to work on. Do unto others as you would like others to do unto you.
I have the capacity and brought just about anything I thought might be useful. I know I have things I'll never use, but you never know when you might need that 1" capacity electric drill, or the belt sander.

Recently had the opportunity to acquire the Ryobi 18volt 1+ system. It came with drill (1/2 inch), flashlight, and circular saw. I love it. More recently I purchased a rotozip tool and a wet or dry hand vac. All the 1+ cordless system.

Pretty compact but pretty useful set of tools.
