I am totally pooped out here from cleaning out the house and moving things to the RV. It is parked on an empty lot next to us (thank goodness) but now have a path worn down. to it....Kitchen cupboards, closets, all are just about done. We came up with an and put plexiglass shelving in for extra shelves in the cabinets...it is light weight and heavy enough to hold kitchen items. Two wks to closing of house and furniture sale this wkend.

Hi Judy
We too are in the process of packing the RV.....what a job! I think your idea for plexiglass shelves is brilliant. Thanks.
I'm having a tough time in the bedroom.... Mattress and coverings ya know its a girl thing. Well we are almost done too and I just need to get our clothes and food out there now and then we hit the road. Hopefully by the end of this month.
Good luck

having lived in our 5th wheel since Katrina we've pared down a lot! I have two sets of sheets for our bed. you know, just in case of accidents! and one set for the sofa bed, it's smaller. and we have 4 towels. you just don't need all those linens.
we're retired now (as of the 17th of this month) and our travelin' days will begin the 16th!

Like Greenlady, we have 4 sets of towels, two sets of sheets, and one set of bedding for the sofa bed. We find these amounts to work great. I don't know why we thought we needed so much when we lived in a stick & brick house.

We were advised to purchase at least 3 sets of sheets for our bed but hardly ever used more than the 2. In fact our third set is used for the 5th wheel. I know we won't be taking more than 2 sets when we hit the road. Four sets of towels sounds good too. Maybe I'll try that at home first.
Linda, thanks for helping us live our dreams through you....for now.
