I write this from my motoor home. So, you say?
Well, the motor home is parked next to my house, which is still for sale. The shock is this, we have been planning to leave today or tomorrow. I arranged for the cable modem and cable service to be cut. Today (this morning), it went away.
Talk about a cup of cold water to wake you up. I still have about 100 pounds of stuff to put in the motor home, and I haven't found a place for my "Travel Chair" and air compressor.
Guess it's time to bite the bullet.
Wish us well as we embark on ....

I can't reply to the loss of high speed access because we never had it at home. But you will be amazed at how much stuff you put in the motor home that you will not use during the next year. It's part of the learning process. Good luck in your travels you will not believe the freedom.

Wishing you lots of joy as you hit the road! :) You will find lots of "stuff" that you won't use...I carried an electronic keyboard for 2 years...never played it. Back to storage it goes. Unfortunately we still have a small storage unit with books, movies, and family pictures that we just could not part with and don't have room for. But every Christmas, when we visit our stuff, the pile gets smaller
Here's to your new freedom

We are in the same situtation here. Only house is sold closing the end of the month or before. Most of furniture is sold also but need one more sale this coming wkend. Cleaned out spices, lots of drawers, closets, stored things that we could not part with either, family albums, some of our collectibles, and antique pcs.
Bedroom sets are going this wk as a neighbor bought them so we will be spending most of our nights in the fiver parked next to the house.
It is becoming real! Wishing you the best of "Happy Trails".

Well we are in our 5th in Goshen Ind. We are full timing, house sold and all the furniture. We did store some family items. However we do have Direct-tv satelite system. We are using a Cingular wire less card. But we are in the process of getting a Satelite system for the computer and tv. Called Bird on a wire for the tv, just haven't decided for sure the system. We are looking at the Hughes system. But will be buying the system after we return to TN. Also we are still taking things out of the 5er that we haven't use and try and get rid of the excess weight. Life is Good. GBY...
