Any recommendations or negatives about campgrounds in the Pagosa Springs Area. We are planning a family reunion next July and would like to avoid a loser.
Thanks,
Larry

There is a new on the Wolf Creek side of town. I think it is called "River Run???". It looked excellent and expensive but, ....
We saw in June, passing through, from the highway headed for Westcliffe, CO. from Durango

Richard and Shirley spent most of the summer in Pagosa-check out their blog for June.
We stayed here in 2001 and it was a nice low key place right on the river. Our sons, then 8 and 12 enjoyed the paddle boats! We were in a pop-up so don't know about their facilities for the higher end rig.

Thanks for the feedback.
Mike you are right about expensive. I found their web page.
Judy I track Richard and Shirly's blog. I have been considering the place you stayed.
Anybody else out there?
Thanks,
Larry

We had a family reunion a few years ago at Pinon Park campground at Arboles. It's a few miles west of Pagosa Springs, near Navajo Lake. It was reasonable, clean, and had facilities for people who don't have a camping rig. It was a good experience for us! Hope you find a suitable location.
