Well, I've been doing a bunch of research on protecting your RV from storms. I've read several forums on this subject and looked back over RVing magazines.
I did find out that if you fill up your fresh water tanks and your holding tanks with water, It adds a lot of weight that helps hold your RV "down".
Also, lower, the front jacks to the very lowest position possible. and in worse case, let air out of tires, to lower your vehicle down near the ground, so not as much wind can get under your RV. You'll have to have air-compressor to put air back in tires.
And park as close to a building or structure as possible to help with winds coming from that direction.
Let's just keep our fingers crossed that the Gulf Coast isn't hit this season.
Ann and Tom
Remember to take pictures of your RV inside and out for insurance purpose. Also remove valuables and take inventory of all your contents.

Looks like the Alabama coast was just missed. But the Noles may not play next weekend.

Great tips Ann/Tom, its something people don't often think about but maybe should. The water in the tanks will add weight and lower the center of gravity, and the jacks and tires down will keep some wind from getting under the trailer as well as lower the CG a little more.
