My name is Judy(the Other on this forum, as we also have SouthwestJudy) and I've been following RV Dreams since it was just a few sparse web pages. I'm originally from So Ohio so I think it was even more interesting because of the link to the No Kentucky area and being familiar with the area Howard and Linda are from. Husband and I spent our Honeymoon night in Lexington on the way to the Smoky Mtns-(note to all, never try to get a decent room in Lex on a weekend when the horses are running and UK is having homecomingpoor planning on our part).
We've camped in some form or another since we were children and have continued that with our sons, now 13 and 17. We've had everything but a motorhome. We lived in a 5th wheel while building a home and a travel trailer while building a cabin in Creede CO. Right now we are building a house so aren't traveling at all but hope to change that as soon as we're finished. Thinking there might be a 5th wheel or truck camper in our future. Lots of time to figure that out tho!
Right now I get my travel fix through your stories, so keep 'em comin'!

Hi Judy -- your post about building a cabin in Creede caught my eye. My husband and I had our first - and almost last - camping experience in Creede. We were very green and had a disasterous night there. It was 14 years before we even talked about camping again. I'm glad we did!
