Workhorse just announced their new rear engine gas pusher RV chassis. Would you consider buying one? Their target market is high end gas motorhomes. I wonder how much cheaper it is going to be over a DP?
Workhorse will be showing one at the Hershey RV show. I'll give it a once over twice, I just love new technology.
Best Regards!

I always wondered why someone never had a gas pusher. Of course most of the gas RV's are built on a commercial truck chassis, and I guess there's not much commercial use for an engine in the back ,taking up precious cargo space.
I like the idea, just think how quiet this one should be, also lighter, and will facilitate the ability to expand the cargo area underneath the coach (sans driveshaft)
Unfortunately I wont be going to the show ,so please give us a detailed report of the new model. Hopefully they will not only have the chassis there, but also a prototype coach to expand on the possibilities.
I also love technology ! Can't wait for someone to come out with slide ups !

I'll try to get some pictures if they'll let me take them. I was wondering at what price point will a MH on the rear engine chassis, now called the "UFO" (for Universal Fuel Option) list for. There will be a choice between an 8.1 GM gas engine and two diesel engine options. With the diesel option, there won't be air brakes and air suspension, which should bring down the price over other DPs. It won't have the same weight ratings either.

Should be interesting.
