The annual Hershey RV show in Hershey, PA is coming up next month, Sept 13-17, 2006. Great place to compare RV models live instead of via brochures. Plus good seminars with Gary Bunzer, the RV Doctor and the Keivas.

We will be there! Will be our first show since Timonium. Was pretty disappointed and hope to see more models/seminars in Hershey.

It was amazing last year, about 1000 RVs of all kinds on display. You could actually see some of the same models in differant colors instead of trying to guess from a brochure.
The Keiva's seminars are terrific, don't miss them if you have the time.

We are going as well. We will be there on Wednesday and Thursday of the show. Hope to see alot of fifth wheels we have been looking at on the internet. The RV shows in our area don't have most of the fifth wheels that we are interested in.

We'll be there as well. Living in the area, we go every year and keep dreaming of our future full-timing RV. We camp fairly frequently as it is - about 1 full week a year, and every other weekend (when other obligations don't prohibit it) from April through Oct. We currently have a 30' TT, but we are considering a Fifth Wheel for our FT home!

We went to the Hershey show last year, as it was held just a couple of weeks after we got this harebrained idea to go fulltiming. We found out about the show from seeing an ad for it in an RVing magazine, and immediately booked 2 plane tickets to PA from Wisconsin.
I highly recommend it to see the most RV's of all types in one place. We literally spent two solid days going from one end of the lot to the other, in and out of all types of RV's. Then we spent the next 1 1/2 days visiting all the indoor exhibitors and attending seminars.
As people who had never RV'ed in their lives, it was quite an experience. We came away from it so excited.
I did have a small notebook I carried with me everywhere, and took notes on every model, including those we did not like. Since you will see so many brands and models, it is easy to get confused and forget things. I found it very helpful later when we did serious researching.

Any time you get a chance to hear these folks...DO IT! They've forgotten more about RV living than most of us will ever learn. They write columns in some monthly RV magazines and have three great books. If you are an RV owner, or just a dreamer at this point, do see, hear or read what these fun folks have to share.
Now if I just had time to attend Howard and Linda's seminar at the upcoming LOW...

We will be there also. Been waiting 4 months for this show since we first read about it. I'm sure we will make up our minds on which motor home to buy after this.
I'm also looking forward to the seminars. Wish Howard and Linda were going to be there. They have been a major inspiration to us.
Hope to see some of you there. We will be the ones hanging around the Mandalay coaches driving the salesman nuts.

Back from the show, only was able to spend one day there (Sat). Poorly laid out parking and they really had terrible walkways into the show, long, long way out of your way to get to the ticket booths, then you had to walk though bunches of RVs to get to the bridge to get into the main show and complex. Don't know how some of the physically challenged folks were able to get in.
As to the show, good layouts of the RVs, most models/colors represented. Lots of seminars, but they were crowded, guess it was because it was Sat. At least the weather was somewhat cooperative, not too hot, not too rainey.
So, we narrowed down our choices to two specific models of Class As, one gas and one diesel. Now all we have to do is decide which one. We discussed it all the way home and changed our minds back and forth and back again. And we felt guilty driving in our current motorhome which ran perfectly. How could we ever think of leaving it for another?
Lastly, the Kievas say "Hi" back to Howard and Linda.
