Hello, all - Just wanted to thank Howard and Linda for the most wonderful website and now this forum is just icing on the cake! It's beginning to feel like there's a whole host of friends out there just waiting to be met...
We're John & Lora Newby from Alaska (Ok, easy on the newbie jokes!) and we'll be starting our full-time adventure next year. We know the months will fly by as we get rid of excess stuff, search for a slightly-used motorhome and squeeze in a trip to Life on Wheels in Tucson. But, we've been planning this for years and we're charging ahead!
We're looking forward to doing some workkamping along the way and spending some time fishing, hiking and rafting (our little catarafts are most definitely on the list of things to have along in the MH) and maybe even an occasional side trip to find some snow for XC skiing and snowshoeing. And, of course, we'll need to find time to visit our two sons and their wives in Washington and Colorado, in addition to other friends and family scattered from the west coast to Iowa. Don't think we'll be bored
So, "happy highways" everyone and we hope to meet you all before long!
