We are looking for recommendations for a base plate installation on our 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer. We're in northern Colorado but will travel to surrounding states if necessary to have someone install it who has experience and does quality, clean work. We had Hitch Corner in Ken Caryl, Colorado install one a few years ago and they did a horrible job. They actually left the wiring to the taillights lying on the exhaust. Of course it got hot, melted and caused all sorts of electrical problems. They were highly recommended but we won't be going back to them!
If you have had a base plate installed by a competent installer, please let me know.
Thank you!

Mark,
I can't say that you will get much in the way of answers, because the RV Dreams forums have been pretty much dead for quite some time. I check in twice a day because I was (and still am) a moderator for the forums. As such, I do see an occasional other forum participant sign in onto the forums. With luck, maybe one of them can help you.

We went right to the manufacturer and had our last baseplate installed at Roadmaster in Vancouver WA, which might be too far for you. Blue Ox in Pender NE might be closer, but still a long ways.
