So, I was just checking on this site to see if it is still active...anyone around?

Not really. I'm here primarily because I am a forum moderator and thus, I ban and delete the occasional spammer. Most everyone else has left because of the forum's inactivity and because Howard said he was going to shut it down.
I'm just waiting for that actual shut-down.

I check in from time to time. It's going to be sad when everyone is gone.

Terry and Jo, do you know who host's this site for them and the cost?

So far as I know, Howard and Linda are the hosts and administrators. As to a hosting site and cost, I have no idea of what those would be.
However, if the traffic here is any indication, I doubt that the traffic is worth the cost of keeping the forums going. Howard wrote of closing it down, and I've sent him two messages that there is more traffic from spammers than there is from forum participants.

Thanks for the info. I run and host a couple sites now, so was just wondering if this would be worth pursuing and keep it going for those who are part of it.

This forum will go away once the hosting service decides to shut it down, since they are not getting paid. Two forums I am on that are alive:

Rvillage.com is going away March 31st...who didn't see that coming!!! Such a shame. I would love to snag the RVillage domain and keep it going.

Find out the cost and there might be a few that would help out with the cost to keep it going

There are two websites that came from RVillage:
https://rvgroup.fun/ - as much as a direct replacement as possible, but without the database of campgrounds
https://therivetedfox.com/ - the event coordinators from RVillage as a way to still have Zoom and in person gatherings
Neither is very large or active, but they exist and I am on both.

Is there anyway to access the RV Dreams Journal at this point? Was it saved as a pdf by any chance?

I can't remember where it occurred, but at one time, someone had posted a "new link" to Howard and Linda's previous journal entries. However, since the forum is "practically" dead, I'm not sure where to look to find the link and whomever posted that link may no longer be checking in here at the RV Dreams' forum.
I check in twice daily, but I do so only because I was one of the moderators and want to do my part to keep spammers out of the forums. On a rare occasion, I might see one of the other participants signed on when I am checking in.
