Damn - totally made me tear up typing that “subject”
Back in the summer of 2013, I started researching this crazy full-time RV lifestyle. My husband thought I was nuts. He loved the idea of it but never thought we could do it before official retirement because it would be too expensive. We were both 48 years old and nowhere near being independently wealthy. Howard and Linda helped us realize we could do it. They gave us the courage to do it. Proved it was possible. I read every word of the journal and focused a lot on the financials - especially since Bill is a numbers guy!
Now, 8 years later, we’ve been full-time almost 7 years. We attended our first rally in April 2014 and never looked back. Closed on our house August 29, 2014 and never regretted our decision. Never once. We met our “tribe” at that first rally, and our core group is still close - Class of 2014 ROCKS!
Since then, we’ve gone to 5 other rallies, for a total of 6. Another Educational, two Boondocking and two Reunion. We’ve loved every minute of them all! We’ve expanded our tribe and knowledge at those rallies. We also were able to give back, which we believe is very important.
All of this to say a whole-hearted THANK YOU to Howard and Linda. We love you guys and wish you well in your new life. There aren’t adequate words to tell you what you mean to us. We are grateful every day for your friendship and for this amazing community you created.
