2018 NuCamp Cirrus 920 Asking $29,200 Negotiable
2018 NuCamp Cirrus 920 truck camper in excellent condition. Get a like-new camper for a used price. Single owner. This has been my personal camper since purchase. The only reason that I’m selling it is because medical issues prevent me from traveling as often. The NuCamp Cirrus 920 is turn-key four season camping with amazing quality of build (specs below).
Some questions you might have:
Is loading/unloading the camper difficult?
Nope, I do it frequently and by myself. I’m just an average driver and didn’t have experience loading truck campers prior to purchasing the Cirrus. The electric jacks are operated by remote control and a breeze to use and level. This camper has dually extension jacks to accommodate DRW vehicles. The entire loading process usually takes me around 15 minutes.
Do I need to buy a bunch of accessories to actually go camping?
Nope, unlike buying a new camper, this used camper is ready to go camping. Included accessories: 30A extension cord, Camco circuit analyzer, 120v plug adapter, two 10 ft Camco Rhino sewer hoses with adapters, Camco sewer hose supports, RV Digest-it holding tank treatment, 20 ft non-potable water hose for black tank sprayer, 20 ft potable water hose with carbon filter (new June 2019), coaxial cable, two wheel chocks. I’ll also include 4 Torklift Fastgun tie-downs with locks.
Can I use the camper when it’s off the truck?
Yes, Cirrus campers are built to be used freestanding on the jacks. NuCamp does not recommend using sawhorses or other braces. I often drop the camper off the truck & then have the truck as a run around vehicle. It’s the best of all worlds – no towing, compact and nimble for driving, but with a separate vehicle while camping. Have a boat, horse trailer, or other towable equipment? No problem with a truck camper!
What wear and tear does the camper have?
The camper has been much loved and well cared for. All appliances, electronics, equipment are in good working order. The roof was resealed by NuCamp in July 2019. Wear and tear is limited. There are a few surface scratches of the wood next to the mounted tv, the base of the kitchen cabinet below the drawers, and the exterior of the kitchen and rear door windows. I am happy to send detail pics of any of these areas. There are no significant exterior scratches or dings.
Why should I buy a Cirrus instead of another truck camper?
The same reason I did – superior quality of build and components. And NuCamp really stands behind their products. They are responsive to any questions or issues. I would buy another NuCamp product in a heartbeat.
What is the best feature of the Cirrus 920?
It’s tough to pick one since there are so many unique features on Cirrus campers. The Alde radiant heat system is phenomenally efficient and quiet – warm & cozy even off the grid using minimal propane in freezing temps. The upgraded 160 watt solar panels are plenty of charge to keep my batteries full given how energy efficient the Cirrus is. The Froli sleep system is extremely comfortable. The kitchen storage is enormous. The pullout pantry holds tons of food and the bottle drawer on the Thetford fridge is massive – it’s astonishing how much I can fit in there. Having the upgraded Thetford oven in addition to the microwave convection oven gives me lots of cooking options on the road. Oh, and the integrated shades/screens on every window and screen door are one of those features that I didn’t really appreciate until I had them. Paired with the custom dual-pane insulated Plastoform acrylic windows, the shades/screens make keeping the temperature inside the camper a breeze. The public is really interested in it’s overall look and I get tons of admiring comments about the diamond plate bumper.
