our 2012 New Horizon 5er is in need of some new slide seals. Some bulb seals and some are wiper seals. As I look at them the bulb seals on the sides seem pretty straight forward to replace. The wiper seals are a different story as they are attached to the sidewall of the camper. And more difficult yet is the large living room slide top wiper which appears to be wrapped around to the interior in a single piece but I can’t tell for sure.
Any one here have any experience in replacing slide seals? If yes where did you purchase your replacements? How difficult did you find the task? Any Input or guidance would be appreciated.

We had ours done at the factory a year or so ago. There are 3 parts to the seal…the wiper part which is attached to a U-shaped rubber piece that wraps around the edge of the slide hole. On the inside and outside there's a bracket that the bulb part slides onto.
The wiper part has glue on it to hold it on and also is held on by the brackets for the bulb portions that are screwed to the fiberglass. All of the seals are easy to get to…except for the forward galley slide seal…which is behind the cabinetry. What the factory guys did was stick their hand in through the slide hole opening from the outside and stick it down…that part of the seal doesn't have the bulb portion on the inside as there's no way to get to it without pulling the slide out or dismantling the pantry/cabinetry.
The slides are easily available online…and from watching it done it's probably not beyond the capabilities of most of us…you really need 2 people for the job though. If you have slide toppers they need to be removed from the. slide end and set up on top of the roof to get to the. top slide seal.
