A couple of months ago I went to the Remco web site and it said I could tow the above-mentioned vehicle.  Well today I decided  to confirm that with the Ford owner's manual and it said I couldn't.  Does anyone know why by any chance.  I can understand why I can't tow an automatic due to lubrication issues without the pump turning, but a manual typically uses splash lubrication so that shouldn't be the issue.   I'm thinking it may be the steering wheel locking mechanism and running the battery down with the ignition on.  In that case I'll simply get a battery disconnect.  Any one have any ideas?
