Mike (significant other) and I aren't all that new to RVing we both have some experience .... but not as a stroke survivor confined to a wheelchair. We are wanting to live the life we have left in the less stress, beautiful scenery and free to roam lifestyle a RV can bring. I am reading books and looked into the Wheelchair accessible RV's and even looked into a "all terrain power chair" but what I would like to find out is if there are others that are in the same place Mike and I are and what they have come across both good and bad living full time in a RV. Mike and I use to love the freedom of traveling in a RV and on motorcycles (our life was based around riding) so you can just imagine how hard this is on Mike. I am not looking back at this horrible past year but looking forward to what still can be..... ANY advise will be appreciated. I did post a question in the forum.....

Welcome! In our years on the road, we have encountered a few folks in similar situations. We even spent a little time with a solo paraplegic that was full-timing - such an inspiration. It's not easy, but in the simplest of terms "Where there's a will, there's a way".

"have come across both good and bad living full time in a RV."
One of the "goods" is if its "bad" you can hitch up and move....unless you signed a six month lease somewhere.

You might want to check out www.handicappedtravelclub.com/ I don't know anything about the organization but it looks like quite a few folks are in your situation.
