Does anyone know who paints DRV's? I know they farm it out, just don't know where. Most OEM's that offer full body paint as an option are asking $13,000 or so. This is their marked up price, so not sure how much I could get it for, but guessing in the $10K range. Other than H&L, has anybody else been down this road?

I don't have personal experience, but on a forum for DRV owners a couple of people gave high recommendations for Precision Painting in Indiana. Their website is apparently under construction but there is a link for email: info@precisionpaintingrv.com.

Not sure you exact goal but FWIW, you might want to check these guys:
I've seen some of their work and it was outstanding. I have no personal experience with them.
A comment, regardless of the paint shop, a lot of what one gets is based on labor time and quality painting takes a lot of time both in prep and application.
That said and FWIW, consider as many clear coat layers as you can afford within reason. Our 2006, built in 2005 KZ Escalade now owned by other RV-Dreamers, still looks great. Saw it in FL this January.
The reason was multiple layers of clear coat. New Horizons offers four layers as I recall, for more money naturally. NH are painted in Iowa at CDI in Forest City, Iowa. Not recommending or promoting them as such, just info.
Precision Painting does a great job. Build up cash before going, they like cash and will give you a discount. At least that was true many years ago when a friend had them do a bunch of paintwork.

Thanks for the comments and links. We still look new, so this is just me doing my homework for the someday job. We really like the “bones” of this rig (after we spent some money making them right) ... so this one’s a keeper. We intend to travel as long as we can, then we might go six months - six months ... eventually this may become a lake house.

If Oregon or Arizona are more convenient, Straight Line also does good work, http://www.straightline-rv.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html .
