We have recently completed our 5th year of fulltime travel!! Each year we do a summary and share it in hope we can pay back a little for what we were able to learn by reading what info others would share like Howard and Linda have done for so many years. We hope you enjoy it and we hope even more that it helps someone in some way.
Absolutely fabulous write up as always Dave. Bless you for the sharing. Been following you since started your blog and Jack was on board :)
Happy New Year to you and Diane.
SD.
PS: Was your overall expenses this year in line with what you shared last year if you don't mind my asking?

Glad you enjoyed it!!! We spent $5000 more in 2017 than 2016 but $3000 of that was just in campground fee's. It's expensive east of the Mississippi!! Plus we stayed at some of the nicest resorts in the country in 17. Oh, Jack is still doing well at 13 years old.

Good to know, as you and Diane beat to our drum so to speak with your travels, interests etc from the get-go, so it's good to know and after 5 years of sharing, we have a most wonderful and varied basis to work with now moving forwards = thanks again.
That's wonderful to hear that Jack is still doing so well into double digits. Still miss our retriever Sassy terribly, even though it's been 4 years this September past, but we agreed with your sentiments, along with many others a while back, about how restrictive at times for long hikes (where no dogs allowed), visiting places having a four legged companion on board needing consideration could be, so we are content with the photos and memories for our next phase.
Happy Travels in 2018 :)

Enjoying the summary. Heading back for more reading. Us future-timers can learn a lot from it.
