The first purchase that my new wife and I made in 1984 was a Mazda pickup and a 1955 Crown travel trailer. We rebuilt the trailer and used it for five years as we traveled around the Western United States. Since that time we have had almost every type of RV. We have been Full-timers and now own A Heartland Bighorn 5th Wheel which we pull with a Customized 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Megacab with a 5.9 Cummins diesel engine. I credit Full-time RVing to saving my life. After suffering a stroke in 2008 I had almost given up having any quality of life again. However, under advice and care of a great doctor we were able to get on the road again. Though it wasn't always easy it was well worth every effort. I gained strength and also had to use my damaged brain and through time learned different methods to cope with my disability.
